Ahrefs

I am a big fan of Ahrefs’ keyword tool. First of all, the entire Ahrefs platform is extremely user-friendly. Ahrefs shows which new keywords you are ranking for, as well as which keywords you may have lost.

It also tells you how many spots your website has moved up or down on Google’s search engine results page (SERP) when people search for a specific keyword. Additionally, Ahrefs shows you how much traffic any given keyword receives in a monthly period, so you are better able to inform your strategy.

These insights are invaluable for businesses, as they reveal which keywords are low-hanging fruit, which ones you need to work harder to rank for, and which ones simply aren’t worth your effort. I know Google Keywords offers similar functionality, but the Ahrefs user experience (UX) is second to none.

My favorite tool to track keywords is Semrush. It’s an excellent tool since it provides a comprehensive set of features, from conducting keyword research to monitoring your rankings and analyzing the keywords and backlinks of your competitors.

If not Ahrefs, then Moz

We’ve tried a few tools, and there are some great ones out there. In fact, we tend to use a variety of tools to generate keywords, such as Moz or AnswerThePublic.

 But the best tool on the market for tracking keywords has got to be Ahrefs. We’ve used this tool as a marketing agency for clients for years, which has helped us to produce content that ranks highly across a range of subjects.

By tracking keywords in Ahrefs, we’re also able to adjust content to better fit certain keywords, to optimize their ranking position in SERPs.

Here at the marketing agency Inflow, we rely on a few big tools to research and track keyword performance for our clients. First, we use Ahrefs to research potential keywords for clients.
