UserTesting also has a way of tagging user responses to quickly identify key trends and customer needs, giving businesses an invaluable edge when analyzing results. Qualtrics is by far the most comprehensive, all-in-one tool out there for market research, and, in my opinion, it is a distant first place with everyone else bringing up the rear when it comes to survey-based first-party research. The platform can help you run your surveys or upload existing data sets on which you can run statistical tests and run visualizations to make engaging with the data and gleaning insights a breeze. You also never have to mess around with finding respondents, as Qualtrics can find representative samples of your target audience and have them fill it in without additional effort on your part.

Market research is defined by its ability to promptly identify trends and market information. When it comes to getting real-time data with precision, it is vital to follow the trend. Brew Survey is a Market Research App that collects data to better understand the market by evaluating and comparing products. With this app, you not only receive real-time data visualization, but you can also customize the structure of your survey. With its dynamic dashboard, you may examine real-time reports in formats that are easy to understand. Using mobile forms to collect data eliminates the need for paper, making the data more precise and extractable for future studies.
My favorite tool for market research is Google Analytics. I like that it provides detailed insights into website performance such as page views, bounce rate, referral sources, as well as organic and paid search data. Google Analytics also offers a variety of reports which can be used to identify user behavior, measure conversions, and analyze search trends. Additionally, it has several helpful features such as custom dashboards, alerts, and tracking codes. These features allow for more in-depth analysis and optimization of SEO campaigns.
I use Amazon as a market research tool. Depending on the product I create and the users, I go to the comment section and make a Notion recap of what people want, look into, and would buy again and again. When people like a product, they say it. On Amazon, some best-sellers are a call for a wave of critics (positive and negative). As a creator, it is golden material to work with. You can update your product, look into a need the market is not filling yet, and mostly read from people who buy what they need. Amazon is one of the most active marketplaces. People are not passive; they look for what they buy. They are not doing a task and being proposed a product or tool. They are intentional, and it is key to repurposing this intention into solutions to create.
Ahrefs is my favorite tool for market research. The tool gives users access to data such as organic search volume, keyword difficulty, the number of links needed to rank, and a peek into competitor ranking data. It is a bit pricey but it’s worth it.

My go-to-market research tool is Marketline. Marketline offers data and reports on many industries, geographies, and companies. The industry reports are a great way to gain deep insight and understanding of an industry, including the market forces, financial information, trends, and key players. The ability to analyze an industry at a global, regional, and/or individual country level is a very powerful tool and very useful for international companies looking to tailor their business strategy to a local market. Wynter is a fantastic tool for testing messaging and website designs with your audience, quickly. You simply select your audience, upload an image, and choose the questions you want to ask. The sample size is quite small (15 to 30 responses) but the feedback is detailed and actionable. Plus, it usually comes back in under 48 hours. We used it when we redesigned our site and it fundamentally changed our approach.
