Recently a PR manager asked us how she could submit 5 answers for 5 executives on her team. Her options? Either submit only 3 answers on our Starter plan or purchase 5 seats on our Pro plan ($245 / month).
Neither option felt right. So, today we’re introducing Pay-As-You-Go pricing to give you a way to submit more answers before committing to a subscription. Or, if you’re already on a subscription, this new model will provide a way to submit more answers for a client or team member without having to purchase a Seat.
Pay-As-You-Go pricing allows you to purchase Credits that can be used to submit answers to questions. Credits never expire, and can be purchased in packs of 1, 5, or 25.

How do Credits work?
Once you use your three answers for the month on our Starter plan, you can purchase Credits to submit more answers to questions.

Do I still get 3 answers every month?
Yes, if you are on a Pay-As-You-Go model, then 3 additional answers will be added to your account every month alongside your credits.
I’m already on a Subscription. How can I use Credits?
Currently, if you’re on a paid Pro or Business plan you need to purchase a Seat to submit an answer for a Profile. However, sometimes you may not need a Seat (ie – “unlimited answers”) for a Profile when all you need to do is submit a single answer.
With Credits, you can bypass purchasing a Seat for a Profile and instead apply Credits to submit answers. Credits are perfect for team members or clients who may not need unlimited answer submissions, but might need to submit one or two answer submissions.
Credits are designed to work alongside Subscriptions to provide customers with more flexibility.
Does it cost 1 credit to submit 1 answer?
Yes. One credit = one answer submission.
Can I apply credits to Bylines + Interviews?
Yes. You’re able to submit a Bylined Article or Interview Profile for 5 credits.
What’s the pricing for Pay-As-You-Go?
- 1 Credit = $6.99
- 5 Credits = $5.99 / credit ($29.95 total)
- 25 Credits = $4.99 / credit ($124.75 total)
I’m on subscription. Why would I use Credits?
Let’s do some math. Using our Pricing calculator, you’ll be able to estimate the cost of an additional Seat. For the purposes of this example, let’s say that adding an extra seat costs you an additional $49 / month. The question then is how many answers do you anticipate submitting for the Profile? If you were to purchase 25 credits at $4.99 per credit, then the breakeven point would be “10 answer submissions” ($4.99 x 10 answers = $49.99; 1 seat x $49 / month = $49).
In other words, if you planned on submitting 10 or less answers, then it may make sense to purchase Credits instead of a Seat. This provides subscribers with some additional financial flexibility based on their usage needs.
