Muck Rack
Muck Rack is my go-to for email marketing databases. With Muck Rack, I’m able to merge lists from multiple sources and create more sophisticated campaigns. Muck Rack also offers plenty of analysis tools, allowing me to track performance metrics in order to evaluate the success of my campaigns.
What I love most about Muck Rack is its tagging capabilities; I can label each individual on my list and segment them according to special criteria, such as interests or location. This saves me time and allows for more comprehensive targeting when sending messages. Muck Rack’s intuitive dashboard design makes it simple to access these features with a minimum of effort.

Multimedia Lists
Multimedia Lists has been our go-to email marketing database provider because of the extensiveness of its database. No other provider has a database of over 240 million U.S. citizens, so working with Multimedia Lists allows us to tap into a pool of potential businesses for our tracking solution. With Multimedia Lists, we also have the advantage of tapping into worldwide data to ensure we can partner with other e-commerce stores just starting.

Mailchimp
We manage our email marketing database using a program called Mailchimp. We selected Mailchimp as our email marketing platform for several reasons. First, it’s simple to use and has an intuitive design that enables us to create and send out email campaigns quickly.
Second, Mailchimp has strong analytics that offer in-depth insights into the effectiveness of our email marketing. This enables us to determine what is effective and what needs to be improved.
In one case, we observed a decline in our open rates but could not determine the cause.
We looked more closely at Mailchimp’s stats and found that our subject lines lacked interest. After changing the subject lines, our open rates significantly increased.

ActiveCampaign
I’ve used a variety of platforms in the past, ranging from Mailchimp to Hubspot. My goal was always to find a platform that would allow me to execute campaigns easily, automate tasks, and provide an intuitive CRM system.
My search ended when I discovered ActiveCampaign. After starting a trial, its power and versatility quickly impressed me. I initially used it for my own purposes and then migrated my clients over to it as well.
Today, it is the only platform I use. I have no regrets or compromises. It continues to develop, providing everything I need to offer email marketing services to my clients, including superior email deliverability, effective list segmentation, personalization, and even artificial intelligence capabilities such as predictive sending.
