Introducing Optimize — Your Personal AI Writing Assistant

With a single click, turn a rough draft, a sentence, or even just a few notes into an full-length answer suggestion.

At Featured, we know that inspiration doesn’t always strike at the perfect moment. Sometimes you discover a great opportunity, but the words don’t flow — or the time just isn’t there. That’s why we built Optimize, the newest part of Featured AI.

Optimize functions like a personal writing assistant, helping experts turn their ideas into initial responses so more knowledge can be shared and submitted.

Why We Built Optimize

We heard from many experts (ourselves included) who faced the same challenge:

You’ve found a question you want to answer. You have a rough idea of what you’d like to say. But drafting a full, polished response takes time — time you don’t always have.

Optimize bridges that gap. With a single click, any Featured user can turn a rough draft, a sentence, or even just a few notes into a suggested answer. Pro and Business plan customers will see drafts tailored to their Knowledge Base for even more personalized responses.

It’s still your voice. It’s still your expertise. But now, you don’t have to start from scratch.

Featured AI with Optimize feature

Step 1: type a rough draft, a short response, or even just a one-sentence starting point to activate Optimize.

How Optimize Works

When you’re drafting an answer on Featured, you’ll see a new Optimize button.

  1. Begin typing your answer — as much or as little as you want.
  2. Click Optimize. A preview window opens to the right of your answer box, showing an enhanced version of your response.
  3. With one click, you can accept the optimized draft, add your personal experiences, refine details, and make it ready to submit.

Generating an enhanced response

Step 2: Click Optimize to generate an enhanced response

Step 3: Review the suggested response, and click “Use This Response” to replace the content in the answer box. Add your personal experience to the response, refine, and submit.

A Personal Example

We built Optimize because we needed it ourselves.

More than once, we found ourselves staring at a great opportunity in Featured AI but not loving the suggested drafts — and not having the time (or sometimes the interest) to start fresh.

With Optimize, we can type an opening thought, click the button, and see a suggested draft using our own Knowledge Base. Then we can add our personal insights, make edits and submit.

It saves time, and helps us contribute to more opportunities that matter.

Staying True to Featured’s Principles

Like all of Featured AI, Optimize is built with transparency and trust in mind:

  • Your input matters — drafts are always based on what you type and your Knowledge Base.
  • You stay in control — nothing is ever auto-submitted; you decide what to use.
  • Publishers stay informed — every answer is scanned by Pangram, and publishers can choose to filter AI-assisted responses.

For Pro and Business plan customers, Optimize goes further by drawing from your Knowledge Base to generate personalized drafts.
