Position Overview: We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As the 6th employee of an early-stage, venture-backed startup, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our CEO, Product Manager, and other Software Engineers to develop and enhance features that drive the success of Featured.com. You will have the flexibility to work fully remote or hybrid from our office in Scottsdale, AZ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Test, and Implement: Develop software applications using Next.js, TypeScript, Python, and other services, focusing on delivering a positive end-user experience.
- Full Lifecycle Development: Engage in all stages of software development, including architecture design, performance evaluation, code review, and internal tool management.
- API Development: Create API endpoints to facilitate seamless integration between client and back-end services.
- Cloud Deployment: Deploy code from GitHub to the cloud, utilizing various cloud services.
- Agile Participation: Attend Agile – Scrum calls and actively participate in brainstorming sessions to bring diverse ideas to the table.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, Product Manager, and Software Engineers to enhance existing features or develop new features for the platform.
- GitHub Collaboration: Collaborate with the tech team on GitHub to share tasks and update existing code.
